Meet Rod
Qualified Painter & Decorator with over 20 years experience, father of 5, keen sportsman, can’t sit still, he loves fishing & a good game of poker!
Then there’s the rest of our amazing crew:
CHRISTIAN
Having painted with Rod previously prior to CPD, the joker of our crew Christian (like Rod) has over 20 years experience painting. Having worked together with Rod previously, Christian knows Crampton Painting inside out! Outside of work, Christian loves a good game of AFL, as well as coaching his youngest son’s soccer on weekends!
XAVIER
Joining us 4 years ago, having completed his apprenticeship, Xavier now qualified, has quickly become a very reliable and trustworthy member of our crew. An avid and keen gym man, Xavier also likes to have a joke or two on site. Recently engaged, Xavier enjoys travelling and until recently, also played soccer with Rod!
PA AYE
Pa came to us almost 2 years ago and is currently in the 4th year of his Apprenticeship. Pa is our quietest crew member, not saying much but always laughing and smiling cheekily at others and their jokes. We call him the ‘quiet achiever’!
JOEL
Joel is our wisest crew member! Full of knowledge and stories (having tricked a few employees into believing a few of his tales over the years) Joel has been with CPD for 7 years! A legend amongst his peers around town, Joel has a story or two to tell!
GRANT
The man who has been painting for 40 years. Grant is a father of three who loves being outdoors. Camping and fishing are his thing! An avid Collingwood supporter, who, if he is not at a local AFL game, is at an early morning soccer game watching his youngest play or happy by a river somewhere waiting for that elusive bite!
KYAW
Kyaw recently joined our team and is uncle to our very own Pa Aye. Kyaw has a gorgeous two-year-old daughter and loves taking the family camping. Keen on all sports, especially soccer, Kyaw is the more vocal member of our uncle/ nephew duo. Kyaw likes a good laugh and has fit right in with the Crampton Crew.
ELLIE
Having moved to Australia from the UK, Ellie shares a love of the outdoors and going to the gym. On Friday nights, Ellie can be found running around the footy oval playing for one of the local women’s AFL teams. Socialising with friends is a must. Here’s to Ellie!
The CPD Office Ladies
JULES
Where do we start? Well we could start by posting pics of Jules in the 70’s with her flares and long brown hair, hanging out with Mel’s parents in Maple St Golden Sq. (Maybe we fast forward @ 40 years! ).
Jules joined the CPD crew in 2018 bringing a wealth of knowledge and laughter to the office. A mother of 3 & a grandmother of 6, Jules arrives each day with slippers, snacks & treats for her girl ‘Belle’ who Jules refers to as ‘the office secretary’.
MEL
Mel once upon a time drove fancy cars for a living around an island next to France! (yes, she admits it was a hard life!)
Having travelled the world and finally returning home to settle in her hometown of Bendigo after 13 years, Mel one day met Rod and the rest is history as they say!
5 kids between them, house renovations and starting a business with a 3 week old baby, Mel, like Rod, is not shy of a challenge or two.
BELLE
Referred to as the ‘office secretary’ Belle is our rather ‘furry’ office lady who can be found lying loyally at Jule’s feet while she works!
Any work discussions or meetings result in Belle sitting proudly in the middle looking up longingly with her piercing blue eyes!
